We're working with two major trusts to improve their ability to “catch up” with the backlog after Covid-19 by moving some services into the community. The pandemic has presented enormous challenges for the NHS which will continue to be felt over the coming years and it’s widely recognised that pressure on theatre space and hospital treatment rooms will be significant for many years to come. We’re working with vascular surgeons to move some of their capacity for the treatment of key patients into the community and facilitate their relationship with primary care, thereby improving resource utilisation and outcomes for their patients.
